Specializing in mainstream jazz standards and originals in the be- bop and post-bop styles of the 40's, 50's and 60's, Le Jazz Cool has enjoyed success at clubs, events, weddings and private functions. Members have worked in LA studios, appeared live with names such as Charles Mingus, Frank Zappa and Don Grolnick and have highlighted at the Berlin Jazz Festival. Organized in a classic jazz quartet format of sax, piano, bass, and drums, the band has been augmented at some gigs with additional horns and singers. The usual line-up:
